  • Placing human hair, crushed glass, mothballs, etc. in the mole tunnels is effective.
  • Chewing gum in the mole tunnels will kill the mole.
  • Ultrasonic devices will repel the mole from your yard...save your money! 
  • A chemical grub treatment will solve the mole problem, they eat at least as many earthworms, insect larvae, etc.
  • There are "dozens" of moles in an average yard
  • Elimination of the grubs in your lawn will not eliminate your mole problem.

  • Moles eat "at least" as many earthworms as they do grubs. Earthworms are beneficial to your lawns soil. 

  • There are NO registered pesticides which can be legally applied to kill moles.

  • The average size yard has been found to contain from 1-3 moles.

  • Moles can tunnel at approx. 18 feet per hour. Over the course of an 8 hour period a mole can produce 144 feet of tunnel.
